Is the EU guarantee notice on your store?
From 27 September 2026, sellers to EU consumers must show a harmonised notice about the legal guarantee of conformity. This looks at a storefront and tells you what it can see. Free, no install, no account, and it works whichever app you use or none at all.
We fetch the public homepage, the same as any visitor. Nothing is stored.
What this can and cannot tell you
It reads the public homepage and looks for the things a compliant storefront tends to have: the Commission's notice image, the trigger sentence the guidelines suggest, or a link to the Your Europe guarantees page. If it finds none of those, it says so, and that is genuinely worth checking. It is not a legal opinion: a shop can meet the obligation in ways a homepage fetch cannot see, for example only on product pages.
It also does not care which app you use. If a competitor's notice is on your storefront, this will report that you are covered.
If it is missing
Read what the rule actually requires, then see what the notice looks like. You can implement it yourself from the Commission's files, or install Clearmark, which is free for the mandatory notice.
